Our office uses several methods to make teeth whiter, including Zoom!

Zoom! is a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure. It’s safe, effective, and extremely fast. In just over an hour, your teeth will be dramatically whiter. Due to its speed, Zoom! is generally more convenient than whitening strips or trays, especially for busy individuals.

The process begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. The clinician then applies the proprietary Zoom! whitening gel that is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. You’ll be amazed with the results!

The tray method begins with having impressions of your mouth taken. From there, custom vinyl trays are fabricated for you. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 3 hours, or overnight. The entire process takes 3-4 weeks of daily use.

The tray method is recommended for badly stained teeth and it may take several months of use to see significant color improvement. For maintenance of whitened teeth, the trays should be used every several months.

The cost of the tray method is about half compared to Zoom!, and there is usually less post-treatment sensitivity.

Pola is a teeth whitening system that you can have performed at the dentist office, in the comfort of your home, or on-the-go. The process whitens the discolorations in the enamel of your teeth, commonly caused by coffee, red wine, tobacco, or aging. Pola has several different treatment options that you can discuss with Dr. Petry.

KöR is an advanced teeth whitening technology that allows your enamel to restore its youthfulness quickly. The KöR process includes whitening trays that can be used at home. It is designed to seal saliva and sulcular fluid out of the trays. The trays combined with the system’s whitening gels provide up to 10 hours of whitening activity.
